Dental Crowns

If you have a toothache, your tooth may be cracked, chipped, or otherwise damaged. For a structurally compromised tooth, Dr. Ryan may recommend a dental crown to restore integrity. Dr. Ryan prefers to place aesthetic crowns, made from porcelain or porcelain fused to metal (PFM). Each crown we order is handmade for a perfect fit and natural appearance.

Crowns require two office visits. The first appointment will allow Dr. Ryan to prepare your tooth, take an impression for our dental lab, and place a temporary. After your permanent crown arrives from the lab, your return visit will involve permanent placement of the new restoration. Your dental crown will feel, look, and function like a healthy tooth.
