Dr. Tom Ryan, Jr.

Dr. Tom Ryan graduated from Loyola University with his DDS in 1984. He pursues the latest developments in dental technology and clinical procedures through many annual courses and professional memberships. Dr. Ryan studies cosmetic dentistry at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and offers many popular smile enhancement procedures, like porcelain veneers and teeth whitening. He is certified to perform laser dentistry with Periolase™, an innovative tool for precision soft-tissue applications.

A native of Oak Forest, Dr. Ryan understands his community, and through the years, he has become a trusted friend to many patients whom he counts as extended family.

Sue Martinek, Office Manager

Sue has served our patients for more than 20 years. Her expertise helps our office maintain optimal efficiency, while her friendly personality makes her a patient favorite. To Sue, our patients aren't just names and charts, they are individuals whom she has enjoyed getting to know through the years. She controls the many administrative responsibilities of a dental office, while keeping the team and patients on schedule.

Early mornings are Sue's favorite time of day, when she spends time outdoors feeding the birds, watching squirrels, and playing with her Basset hound. She also has a Cockatiel to keep her busy when she isn't at the office. Sue has been married for nearly 40 years, and her only son recently married, giving her the daughter she always wanted.

Helen O'Hara, Dental Assistant

With more than ten years in the dental field, Helen is currently in hygienist school. She works chairside with Dr. Ryan, making patients feel confident and comfortable in the operatory. Helen has a heart for helping people, so she works with a gentle hand and caring spirit.

Away from work, Helen enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
